A Change of Command Ceremony was held at EGUERMIN on 27 November 2009 Captain Stephen GLASER (Netherlands Navy), Director of the school since January 2008, was relieved by Commander (s.g.)  Philippe Cornez (Belgian Navy). Since EGUERMIN is a Bi-national school, the office of Director is in turn fulfilled by a Belgian and a Dutch senior naval officer.
CDR (s.g.) Cornez was installed as Director by the Belgian Naval component Commander, Rear Admiral Robyns.
